CSR Academy seeks excellent educators who not only believe that every child can succeed, but are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that CSR Scholars are adequately prepared academically and socially to be competitive additions to excellent high schools and colleges through Cincinnati, Ohio and the entire United States.
CSR seeks instructional and support staff members to continue building upon the strong foundation at our school.
Qualified candidates are:
- Passionate and Dedicated – CSR teachers work above and beyond normal teaching expectations. They dedicate countless hours both within and outside of the classroom to ensure that they are doing everything possible to guarantee student success. CSR teachers are relentless in their focus to reach classroom and school-wide goals. Our teachers believe in CSR’s ability to transform public education in Cincinnati, and are driven to continuously improve themselves and our team to achieve excellence with our students. They are willing to shoulder the responsibility for student performance, and do whatever it takes to be successful.
- Data Driven – CSR teachers interact with and use student data on a daily basis to inform and adjust their instructional decisions. Using different forms of assessment data, we invest students in their own data and speak a common language around data that allows all team members to know specifically where every student is in relation to their end goals.
- Excellent Team Players and Collaborators – CSR teachers survive and thrive through strong professional relationships with one another. We understand that we will fail or succeed as a school team, and thus work together to constantly push each other to attain their personal best – and beyond.
- Entrepreneurial – CSR teachers are independent thinkers who feel comfortable and called to look for needed areas of growth at our school and fill those needs. Our teachers don’t wait to be asked to pitch in, step up, or start something new. Instead, they all serve as leaders in their ability to fill needs as they arise, so that we all function as a team.
- Organized and Excellent Communicators – CSR teachers are able to balance the heavy demands of teaching, professional development, after school responsibilities, committee membership, and personal life. Their demeanor, classroom, and instruction reflects careful attention to detail and organization. Additionally, CSR teachers are skilled communicators, exhibiting strong interpersonal skills, the ability to connect with families and community constituents, and professionally dealing with staff and students.

We seek to implement best practices of educating urban students, and welcome new ideas and fresh perspectives that are founded in research.
