C. Dale Elifrits, Ph.D., R.G., RM-SME, currently holds the Dorothy Westerman Hermann Endowed Chair in Science and is Director of Pre-Engineering and Outreach in the Center for Integrative Natural Science and Mathematics at Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights, Kentucky. He serves as a Visiting Professor in the geology program at Northern Kentucky University. He is Professor Emeritus of Geological Engineering and Associate Director Emeritus of the Freshman Engineering Program at Missouri University of Science and Technology, formerly Missouri School of Mines. In addition to his 35 years in engineering higher education and part-time consulting, he taught earth science (eight grade level), chemistry, and mathematics (high school level) in public schools before entering the professorate. He is active in the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration, Inc., the Association of Engineering and Environmental Geologists, the American Society for Engineering Education, Rotary International, and his local United Methodist church.

Joel G. Stone: Officer, Private Banker Fifth Third Private Bank. In his role as a Private Banking Relationship Manager, Joel incorporates traditional and specialized banking solutions for high-net-worth executives, families and business owners. Joel has been with Fifth Third Private Bank for over three years. Prior to assuming his current role, he was an Associate Wealth Management Advisor and worked with families to help them build, manage, and preserve their wealth. Joel has also worked as a Personal Trust Associate in Fifth Third Private Bank where he focused on the management and administration of personal trust accounts for some of the Bank’s most affluent clients. Joel is the Chairman and Creator of Fifth Third Bank’s Diversity Leadership Symposium, an annual event that has featured Bob McDonald, John Pepper, Fernando Aguirre, and Jack Cassidy as keynote speakers. This event raises over $10,000 for Fifth Third Bank’s partner in education, Shroder High School. He also serves on the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative’s (CYC) Volunteer Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Cincinnati Masonic Learning Centers for Children. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Mercy Young Leaders. Joel is a mentor in the Fifth Third Young Banker’s Club, a program that is designed to introduce children to financial basics. He is an active volunteer for academic and athletic activities at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. Joel graduated, with distinction, from the University of Michigan with a BA, where he was a Michigan Community Scholar and an elected representative in the Michigan Student Assembly (MSA). He is nearing completion of the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor program. Joel lives in downtown Cincinnati, and is active in the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. He enjoys basketball, fishing, golf, and passionately supporting the Reds, Bengals, and his beloved University of Michigan Wolverines.
